This Beaudesert home was well overdue for a refresh. The existing blinds were over 20 years old — timber venetians that had seen better days and were no longer doing the space any favours. The brief was simple: modernise the look, improve durability, and keep things clean and low-maintenance.
We removed the old timber blinds and replaced them with a combination that better suits modern living and everyday use.
Over the doors, we installed panel glide blinds, giving the space a sleek, streamlined finish. Panel glides are perfect for larger openings — they’re easy to operate, look great when stacked back, and instantly make a room feel more open and contemporary.
For the windows, we fitted PVC venetian blinds. These offer the classic venetian look but with far better durability than timber. They’re moisture-resistant, easy to clean, and ideal for Queensland conditions where heat and humidity can be tough on older materials.
The result? A huge visual upgrade. The home now feels brighter, cleaner, and far more modern — without losing practicality. The new blinds not only improve light control and privacy but also give the entire space a fresh, updated feel.
